Thanksgiving

This year I wanted to get into the giving spirit and made Thanksgiving cards.  I used Marci and Luka from La La Land Stamps.  Enjoy.

Birthday Girl

For my cousin's Birthday I created a card to fit her personality.  She is into Cheetah print.  The stamp is Mod Marcy by LaLa Land Crafts.

Here is the Noro Diamond Motif Shawl I made at the Hillsborough Yarn Shop class.  I love how the colors turned out so bright.

Birthday Cards

I have two Birthday cards to share.  The first is a card made using a La La Land Ballerina stamp and Webster Page's paper.  The second card is a Popcorn the Bear stamp by Crafter's Companion and Webster Page's paper. 

Strawberry Delight

I have not been strawberry picking yet but I hope to go soon.  Here is a card I made for my Grandmother's Birthday that uses the strawberries from PaperTrey Ink.  I colored it with my copics and instructions from Debbie Olson.

Spring is in the Air!

What beautiful weather we are having.  I am so ready for Easter!  Here is a card I designed using an Inky Antics bunny stamp.  So much fun!

Copic Standard Certification Class

On February 17th I took the Copic Standard Certification Class from Debbie Olson.  I learned so much it is impossible to write all of it down.  Now I can update my blog with all sorts of new Copic tricks.  Happy Blogging!

New Hobby

Over the month of January I have been involved in two new hobbies.  One is Zumba with TerryG at http://www.alamanceorangezumba.com/about-us.php.  She has inspired me to get moving again.  I go on Monday and Thursday if anyone would like to join me.

The second hobby is yarn Spinning.  I love it.  We started with a drop spindle and moved to a Spinning Wheel.  Mary Anne at Three Waters Farm has opened a whole new world to me. To see her beautiful hand dyed roving go to www.threewatersfarm.com 

So in honor of my upcoming 39th Birthday we are added an addition to our family at Schacht Lady Bug Spinning Wheel.  I am so excited!!!
